How can we help?

Ask the assistant or browse the answers below. It answers from this help center only, and it never gives investment advice or vouches for a group. Need a person? Use Talk to a person and we'll reply by email.

Basics

What is Signal Nation?

Signal Nation is a directory of trading groups hosted on Discord, Telegram and similar platforms, with member reviews and a trust score for each group.

We don't run the groups, we don't sell their memberships, and we aren't a party to any agreement between you and a group owner. We're not a broker, adviser or exchange.

Terms: what Signal Nation is
Do you give investment advice or trade signals?

No. Nothing on Signal Nation is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. I can't tell you what to trade or predict prices.

We also don't verify trading performance: any results a group shows are the owner's own claims. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results, and you can lose more than you put in.

Terms: no investment advice
Is a particular group legit? Can you vouch for it?

I can't vouch for, recommend or guarantee any group, and Signal Nation doesn't endorse or certify them. The trust score is our good-faith opinion, not a guarantee.

To judge a group yourself, open its page and check:

  • the trust score breakdown (delivery, honesty record, verified ownership and more)
  • reviews from members, and any upheld reports
  • whether ownership is verified ("Ownership not verified yet" means a moderator checked it by hand)
  • owner-reported results are labeled "not verified" and never count toward trust

If something looks like a scam, report it from the group page.

How trust works
How do I join a group?

Use the join button on the group's page. You then leave Signal Nation and deal directly with the group owner on their platform.

Read their terms, prices and refund policy before you pay. Owners bill members themselves, so access, cancellations and refunds are handled by the owner, not by Signal Nation.

Terms: joining a group
Is Signal Nation free?

Browsing, reviewing and listing a group are free. The only thing we sell is the optional Featured placement for owners of approved groups (7 days for $19, 30 days for $49).

Memberships of the groups themselves are sold by their owners, not by us.

Trust scores & reviews

How is the trust score calculated?

Every group gets a trust score from 0 to 100, built only from things we can check:

  • Delivery: member star ratings, read as "did the group deliver what the listing promised"
  • Honesty record: upheld reports against the group or its owner
  • Responsiveness: how reliably the owner answers members and moderators
  • Time in good standing since approval
  • Verified ownership of the Discord server or Telegram group/channel
  • Identity: a moderator manually checked who runs the group

Tiers: Top trust 85+, Trusted 70+, Established 50+, New under 50. Every group page shows its full breakdown.

How trust works
Do profits, follower counts or paying for Featured change the trust score?

No. These never count toward the trust score:

  • trading P&L, win rates and gains screenshots (owner-reported scorecards and showcases are labeled "not verified" and ignored)
  • member or follower counts
  • paying for a Featured placement
  • testimonials and other community posts (they have no stars)
What never counts
Why does my new group have a low trust score?

A brand-new listing has no reviews and no time in good standing, so it starts in the "New" tier even if the owner is excellent. That's on purpose.

Verifying ownership (Discord, or Telegram with our bot) is the fastest honest way to gain points; the rest comes from member reviews and time. Paying for Featured doesn't change it.

New groups start low
Who can write a review, and how?

Signed-in members can review groups they have actually been in, from the group's page:

  • one review per group per person; owners can't review their own groups
  • rate whether the group delivered what the listing promised; profits or losses alone aren't grounds for a rating
  • no links, no personal information about others, no harassment, nothing in exchange for a review

New accounts have a short cool-down before they can post.

Review guidelines
Can I remove an unfair review of my group?

Owners can't remove reviews themselves. If a review breaks the guidelines (fake, swapped or paid review, harassment, personal data, not a real member), use Report on it. A moderator reviews every report; upheld reports about a review remove the review.

Reports and enforcement

Listing a group

How do I list my group?

Sign in, then use List your group. Pick the platform, describe what members get, and add clear prices for every tier.

Nothing is public until a moderator approves it, usually within 24 hours. Your listing must follow the guidelines: clear prices, an honest description, no guaranteed returns, no unlabeled P&L screenshots, no fake social proof.

List your group
How long does approval take?

New listings are reviewed by a moderator before they appear in search, usually within 24 hours. While it's pending, only you (and moderators) can see the group page.

If it's taking much longer, a person can check on it for you.

Your groups
Why was my listing rejected or removed?

Moderators apply the listing guidelines. Common reasons:

  • guaranteed returns or "X% a month" promises
  • unlabeled P&L screenshots or fabricated results
  • unclear prices or hidden upsells
  • fake social proof (bought members, fake reviews)
  • pump-and-dump, account-management or wallet-access schemes

The moderator's note is shown on your group page. If you think we got something wrong, contact us and we'll take another look.

Listing guidelines
Which platforms can I list?

Discord, Telegram (or Discord + Telegram), WhatsApp, Slack, Whop, Patreon, Skool, X Communities and other platforms.

Discord and Telegram groups can prove ownership automatically. Every other platform is checked by a moderator by hand and shows "Ownership not verified yet".

List your group
How do I edit or delete my listing?

Editing or removing a live listing isn't self-serve yet. Use Talk to a person with the group link and what you'd like changed, and a person will follow up by email.

Verification & claims

How do I get my group verified?

Verification proves you run the group. It depends on the platform:

  • Discord: sign in with Discord and connect a server you own or have Manage Server on.
  • Telegram: tap Get a verification code on your group page, add @Signalnationappbot as an admin, and post the code in the group or channel.
  • Other platforms: a moderator checks ownership by hand; the listing shows "Ownership not verified yet".

Verified ownership adds the "Verified owner" badge and the ownership part of the trust score. It isn't an endorsement.

How trust works
How do I verify my Discord server?

Sign in with Discord and connect the server when you list it (or from your account page). We check Discord's list of servers you own or can manage (Owner or Manage Server); we never read messages or post in your server.

Verified ownership adds the "Verified owner" badge and the ownership part of the trust score.

Your account
How do I verify my Telegram group or channel?
  1. Open your group page on Signal Nation and tap Get a verification code.
  2. Add @Signalnationappbot as an admin of your Telegram group or channel.
  3. Post the code (SN-XXXXXXXX) in that group or channel, not in a private chat with the bot. Codes expire after 30 minutes.

The bot only looks for your code and doesn't store your messages. If Telegram verification isn't switched on yet, a moderator checks ownership by hand during review.

Your groups
Can I verify a WhatsApp, Slack, Whop, Patreon, Skool or X group?

Not automatically yet. Groups on those platforms show "Ownership not verified yet" and a moderator reviews ownership by hand. They can't earn the verified-ownership part of the trust score for now.

Trust score parts
What do the "Verified owner" and "ID checked" badges mean?

Verified owner: the owner proved control of the Discord server (Discord sign-in) or Telegram group/channel (our bot and a one-time code), or a moderator confirmed it.

ID checked: a moderator manually checked who runs the group.

Neither is an endorsement or a guarantee of results.

How trust works
How do I claim an unclaimed listing of my group?

Open the listing and use Claim this group.

  • If you sign in with the Discord account that owns the server (or has Manage Server), the claim is approved instantly.
  • Otherwise, explain your role and how a moderator can confirm it. A moderator checks your evidence, usually within 24 hours.

Once approved, the listing moves to your account, loses the "Unclaimed" badge and starts earning a trust score. Never send passwords, invite tokens or ID documents in a claim.

Find your group
What does "Unclaimed" mean on a listing?

Unclaimed listings are built from a group's official public pages. They aren't affiliated with Signal Nation's owners, have no trust score and no reviews, and we don't carry over ratings, testimonials or performance claims. The real owner can claim it.

Browse groups
Someone else claimed my group, or my claim was rejected

If a group already has a verified owner and you think that's wrong, use Report on the group page. For a rejected claim or an ownership dispute, use Talk to a person with the group link and how we can confirm you run it. A moderator will follow up by email.

Community & showcase

How do community posts and testimonials work?

Each group page has a Community feed. Signed-in members can post (20–600 characters) and tag one post per group as a testimonial. Testimonials have no stars and never affect the trust score.

  • Owners can't post testimonials about their own group; they can post announcements, reply, react and pin up to 2 posts.
  • No links, phone numbers, emails, or Discord/Telegram invites.
  • Posts that claim profits or returns are held for a moderator before they appear.
Community guidelines
Why is my post held for review?

Posts and replies that claim profits or returns ("made $5k", "30% return") are checked by a moderator before they appear. Only you can see it until then. Performance claims don't make a group trustworthy, so keep posts about your experience: delivery, support, how the owner responds.

Community guidelines
What is the trade showcase (and owner scorecard)?

Owners can add an owner-reported scorecard and upload screenshots of their own recent trades. Both are always shown as "Owner-reported, not verified by Signal Nation" with a risk warning, and never affect trust scores or rankings.

Screenshots must be the owner's real trades; fabricated, doctored or borrowed ones are removed and can get the group delisted. Owners of approved, claimed groups can show up to 12 (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB; location and camera data are removed).

Account, sign-in & privacy

How do I sign in or create an account?

Sign in with Discord or Telegram; your account is created the first time. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live). One person, one account.

How does Telegram sign-in work?

Tap Continue with Telegram: it opens @Signalnationappbot in Telegram. Tap Start and come back; the page continues on its own. The link only works in the browser that started it, works once, and expires in 10 minutes.

Your Telegram account needs a public username (Telegram → Settings → Username). We don't get your phone number.

Why can't I post yet? It says my account is too new

To keep throwaway accounts out:

  • Discord accounts under 7 days old can't post listings, reviews or reports yet.
  • Telegram sign-ins can post 24 hours after first signing in.

Posting is also rate limited; if you see "Too many requests", wait a few minutes.

Guidelines
I can't sign in or lost access to my account

Some quick checks:

  • Telegram: set a public username, check your device clock, and start again (sign-in links expire after 10 minutes).
  • Discord: make sure you're signing in with the same Discord account as before.

If you still can't get in, or you think someone else used your account, use Talk to a person and a person will follow up by email.

How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@signalnation.com from the address on your account (or tell us your Discord username), or use Talk to a person.

You can also revoke Signal Nation's access in Discord under Settings → Authorized Apps. Moderation records such as upheld reports may be kept as long as needed to keep the marketplace honest.

Privacy: your rights
What data do you collect and who can see it?

We collect as little as we can: your Discord or Telegram ID, name and avatar (plus your Discord email), what you post, and basic request data for security and rate limits. We don't sell personal data and don't use ad trackers.

Your display name and avatar appear on what you post. Your email, Discord token and Telegram ID are never shown, and reports are never shown publicly with your name.

Privacy Policy

Safety & reports

How do I report a group, owner or scam?

Sign in and use Report on the group page (it works for groups, owners, reviews, community posts and showcase screenshots). A moderator reviews every report and upholds or dismisses it. Upheld reports against a group or owner stay on its honesty record and lower its trust score.

Signal Nation doesn't process payments for groups, so we can't reverse a payment you made to an owner. If you've lost money or need to tell us more, use Talk to a person.

Reports and enforcement
How can I spot a scam trading group?

These are never allowed on Signal Nation, and they're good reasons to be careful anywhere:

  • guaranteed returns, "X% a month", "can't lose" or "risk-free"
  • gains screenshots without a clear "not verified" label
  • bought members, fake reviews or rewards for 5-star ratings
  • pump-and-dump, "signals" to exit liquidity, account-management or wallet-access schemes

Check the group's trust breakdown and reviews, and report anything that breaks these rules.
